Members Meeting + Meet The Councillors

Our first members meeting in the New Year is at the Town Council offices in Fletton House where all members are invited for networking and socialising that will take place over drinks and nibbles, as well as a chance to catch up on various local issues relevant to businesses.

The Business Association has for some time now had a working group headed by Philip Amps, working on a number of local issues with Oundle Town Council, in particular on transport. To explain this and get some feedback we have arranged a joint meeting with our local councillors. There is a transport study document that has been carried out considering potential future changes to road schemes and layouts. Also, we have raised issues such as the Riverside Pub and its appearance that unfortunately is in Ashton but adorns the entrance to our town. As well as the Town Councillors, we also hope that some of our North Northants Councillors (pictured) will join us. We will also have a short presentation on what is planned for Blooming Oundle next year and chance to meet Volunteer Action. Make sure Tuesday 31st January from 6pm is in your diary.
